Art Show at Village Medicine

I’m thrilled to announce that I have twenty paintings on display at Village Medicine from February until May 2023. Even better, the clinic is hosting an Art Walk Party on March 11th from 6-8 pm.

I’d would love to see you there.

You can expect all the good things: art, refreshments and great people. It’s also a chance to participate in the Ballard Art Walk and support local business, artists and the community.

Committed to Making a Difference

25% of proceeds will be donated to the women’s empowerment and contraceptive efforts of CEPIA, a non-profit organization located in my temporary hometown of Guanacaste, Costa Rica.  This organization strives to serve the basic and educational needs of the most disenfranchised and impoverished people of the area.  I know the leadership personally, their passion and commitment to their community inspire all.

Art Battle Seattle, Thursday October 24th.

I’m a featured artist at Seattle’s Art Battle on Thursday October 24th.

What is it? It’s 20 minutes to paint with 11 other artists with limited paint and tools. An audience vote sends 4 finalist to a paint-off that night.

Come on out and see what happens. I’d love to see you there!

Benefit Studio Party 2017

In 2017, Hurricane Nate and heavier than usual rains caused death and displaced many people in Costa Rica.  It was a hard rainy season for those most in need in our former community.  I dedicated 20%  of the proceeds to CEPIA Costa Rica for those most affected by flood damage and raised over $600.

Wonderland Set and purchased by La Paz Community School 2017

Parents and families of La Paz Community School in Costa Rica banned together and fundraised to buy the Wonderland Set I painted from Beachnuts Theater to place on their new Pre-K thru 2nd grade campus.  As a group, they successfully raised the funds and the little theater company that impacted my kids lives so profoundly received  $2000 to further its bootstrap program.
