What inspired Soul Shine? 

Soul Shine was the first painting I finished when I returned to painting.  I think it represents the feeling of letting loose, letting something unlesh that’s just been waiting for the right time to come free again.  I loved writing the Synergy Books, but I also love painting, and being back to it was an amazing feeling.  So much color! Celebrate!

What challenges did Soul Shine provide? 

This is a balance between control and letting go. Being back meant a lot of relearning, quickly, meditation, and then just plain freedom.  I worked with all of it.

What techniques did you use? 

I used a fine brush for details, lots of colors and stamping.  I loved the surprise of this painting.
