Description
What was the inspiration for Two Worlds?
I’m often intrigued by how different two people can be. Even people who seem to get along generally have different ways of seeing and being in the world. When we connect, it’s often through very specific channels like energetic, work, or our identity, but it’s not because we are the same. We are vastly different, even if it looks otherwise. Every one of us is moving through the world and energy on our own terms. It’s fascinating at a global level, but even on micro level between two forces, it’s diverse.
What were its challenges?
This one came out of nowhere and surprised me. I don’t remember ever being frustrated, just flow and then surprise. Look! The painting is all done. It doesn’t happen often, but it’s lovely when it does.
What techniques did you use?
I think what I love the most about this painting is the use of light green and teal. I also used stamping techniques with the bright colors and simple brush strokes. Finger paints.
