What inspired you to paint My Heart to You? 

This painting is all about how much joy there is in love. You know the feeling like your heart could just explode with love for …. anything?  That feeling.  Give it to the world.

What were its challenges?

I could have painted this painting forever.  The details, the colors, the little dots could just go on and on.  At what point do they add to the painting and when is it the best it can be done, and when can I move on?  It took a while for me to put it down.

What techniques did you use? 

The heart of the painting is basically p,aint drips.  Lots of blending and lots of fine painting.
